Intro

Tech4Bet expanded beyond Europe to serve a new client in Brazil. They chose AWS Cloud in São Paulo to get low latency, keep data local, and support growth. Revolgy guided the setup using AWS programs and services, with a focus on a secure, high‑performance environment.

About the client

Tech4Bet is a Czech company that develops and licenses online slot games. Their games are integrated into online casino websites, where users play them directly. Until this project, they mostly served Czech clients from a local data center using a domestic cloud provider in the Czech Republic. The Brazil expansion was their first project outside Europe.

Challenge

Moving overseas required low latency for users in Brazil. Hosting data in Europe would add delays. The team also had to consider costs in São Paulo (which can be nearly double compared to Europe), database scaling options, and whether to run only the front end in Brazil to save costs. They discussed using Amazon Aurora for database flexibility and looked for a balance between performance and budget. The setup also needed to be positioned for possible future regulatory changes.

Solution

Tech4Bet and Revolgy selected AWS as the platform for this project, using the AWS Region in São Paulo to keep latency low and keep data within Brazil.
